ORLANDO, Fla. — Entrepreneur Roberto Carrión’s journey from Panama to Orlando is a testament to resilience and determination as he pursues his dreams in the business world.

Originally hailing from Panama City, Panama, Carrión’s path to success has been marked by hard work, education, and a passion for international business.

Carrión, a graduate of the Universidad Latina de Panamá, holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, and sales. He furthered his education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis on supply chain management from the Interamerican University of Panama. Additionally, he obtained a postgraduate degree in high management from the same institution.

His professional journey led him to work for international companies, including a Taiwanese firm with headquarters in California, where he spent over 16 years specializing in international sales and business development across the Latin American market.

“I was responsible for forging partnerships, seeking out investors, and expanding business opportunities for the company,” Carrión explained.

His proficiency in Portuguese, acquired during his business travels and studies, proved instrumental in navigating the Brazilian market, where he met his wife.

With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019, Carrión faced new challenges as the company underwent restructuring. seizing the opportunity to enhance his English language skills, he relocated to the United States with his family, settling in Orlando.

“I saw an opportunity to contribute to the economy and assist small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the U.S.,” Carrión said. “With my extensive network and contacts in Latin America, I aim to help entrepreneurs expand their businesses by connecting them with investors interested in franchise opportunities.”

In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Carrión actively engages in community outreach, offering workshops and seminars on sales, customer service, and marketing for nonprofit organizations.

“I believe in giving back to the community and sharing knowledge to empower others,” Carrión said.

His dedication to both business and community involvement has earned him recognition and invitations to various events, including participation in the Colombian Chamber of Commerce.

As Carrión continues to build bridges between Latin America and the U.S. business communities, his entrepreneurial spirit remains undeterred, fueled by a desire to make a positive impact on the economy and support fellow entrepreneurs in their journey to success.
